Surah Al Baqara-261: The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear Hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things.

At that time, Connecticut law required religious societies to file a certificate of formation with the office of the Connecticut Secretary of the State (SOTS). However, that office has no record of the ISGD's formation, and it is not clear that any such certificate was ever filed. Any attempt to incorporate the ISGD would be difficult, time consuming and the result is uncertain given the above circumstances. For this reason, the Masjid Al Hedaya project is being continued under the newly formed Muslim Society of greater Danbury, Inc ( www.msgdanbury.org )
